Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a psychotherapy appointment in person due to illness, travel, or other reasons, Telehealth may be available as an option. If we cannot reschedule or find a mutually agreeable time, a fee of $100 will still apply. Testing sessions are in person only.

We require at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This allows us to offer the time to other clients in need of services.

A late cancellation refers to an appointment canceled with less than 48 hours' notice. In this case, a $100 fee will be charged. If needed, we are happy to explore options for rescheduling or making up an appointment.

If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment and fail to notify us, you will be charged a $150 fee.

If you arrive late for your appointment, the session will end at the scheduled time to ensure we can accommodate the next client. The full session fee will still apply.

If you cancel three consecutive appointments without rescheduling, your services at Mindwell Gardens will be terminated. This policy is in place to maintain continuity of care for all clients. If this occurs, we will reach out to discuss the next steps.

Payment for missed or late-canceled appointments is due at the time of the missed session.

This policy does not apply to group therapy sessions. However, because group therapy relies on a stable group dynamic, repeated cancellations or no-shows can impact the experience for everyone. If you find it challenging to attend regularly, please discuss this with your therapist to explore whether another treatment option may be more suitable.

If we need to cancel an appointment, you will not be charged.
